Started in 2013, the „Green Product Award” is an international annual contest for innovative and sustainable products and services. The award opens its doors to already long established companies as well as promising start-ups. This year one of the nominees includes Una Mattress.
The revolutionary mattress in a box has been taking over international bedrooms by a storm. Since April 2018 the first organic natural mattress in a box has completed the market and only a month after it’s launch the company Una Mattress has been nominated for the well-known „Green Product Award“. The mattress is 100% organic and Fairtrade certified, it is delivered to your doorstep in boxes and is more affordable than comparable natural mattresses out there.
The owner of Una Mattress Roger van der Matten has been in the mattress and furniture business for decades, but taking this step was a big one for him nonetheless: „We have invested all our passion and efforts to be able to offer an affordable, practical and organic solution for a sustainable and healthy sleep. We are thrilled about this Green Product Award nomination as it a big honour that our hard work is already paying off and is being recognised“.
The british-german company completely forgoes middlemen and is solely selling their mattress online on their own website. The firm confidence in the product is visible with a glance at the Una Mattress website. The company offers customers a 100-night free trial as well as a 10-year warrantee on all their mattresses.
